In 2013/14 this project involved developing a market penetration and distribution strategy for a game-changing UK strategic sensing technology in sub-saharan Africa and South Africa. Utilising a wide range of long-standing relationships in country and amongst the UK aerospace community primary customer introductions and product briefings were arranged and delivered. This included strategic Government actors and utility operators. As a result of these engagements local distribution strategies were formulated and initial proof of concept projects identified. This positioned Optasense to take forward projects without substantial delays in developing market access and key relationships.
