American Airlines Cargo

In 2014 Mike worked closely with the American Airlines Executive team to establish an independent General Sales Agent (GSA) air cargo sales organisation within the UK. The new team were focussed on sales to the smaller freight forwarding agents that a large Airline such as American Airlines would normally be unable to deal with. This was the first project of its kind for American Airlines and there was some trepidation, however the project proved to be highly successful and provided the airline with access to a large, new, previously untapped market.
